Director Election

 Pursuant to the Bylaws, if you wish to run for the Board of Directors for your District and are qualified to run under the Bylaws, you must contact the Cooperative for a Petition. Please contact the office for more information regarding this process. 

Qualifications for New Directors at Atchison-Holt Electric Cooperative

1. You must be a member of Atchison-Holt Electric Cooperative and live in our service area and district you want to serve.
2. Expected to attend the monthly meetings of the Cooperative which are normally help on the 4^th Friday of each month. Per Policy, a member of the Board of Directors will be allowed to miss three (3) unexcused meetings in any one year and remain on the Board of Directors.
3. Attendance of the Associated Electric Cooperative annual meeting in June.
4. Attendance of the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives annual meeting in October.
5. Attendance of the NW Electric Power Cooperative annual meeting in April.
6. Attendance of the Atchison-Holt Electric Cooperative annual meeting in July.
7. You will be encouraged to complete the NRECA Credentialed Cooperative Director education courses in three years. There are 5 courses to complete this
